The brand Alberta Ferretti is named after the homonym Italian designer born in Milan. 1981 saw her first showroom while the first catwalks were two years later. Devoted to the protection of the Italian cultural heritage, she received a honorary degree and in 1998 she was given the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro. At the beginning of the 21st century, her success in fashion contributed to her worldwide fame and esteem: her boutiques feature stores in Milan, Rome, Tokyo, New York, London and Tapei and single brand stores in Moscow and Paris.
